It’s offical. As Dylan Graves clinches the Puerto Rico wildcard win, the young local surfer has been whisked from relative obscurity into the limelight of the world surf community overnight. The trials concluded around 11:30 yesterday at Middles Beach, Isabela Puerto Rico, with Dylan slipping past favorite Brian Toth to seal the spot.
“I’m very proud. I have tears in my eyes. I’m very happy and excited to be the one who represents Puerto Rico in the Rip Curl Pro Search.”
